Vauxhall Astra MK4 2003

  

This is my Astra Mk4 with a 1.4L petrol engine. I've owned it since April last year, bought it at 97K on the clock. I have most of the service history and all the receipts since I've owned it, It's had new NGK spark plugs, Oil filter, Oil and Fuel filter at 102K miles. It has also had a new cam belt, thermostat and water pump at 107k. It has 12V power ran to the boot ready for a subwoofer installation as I have removed mine. It has a custom front grille, replacement headlights with brand new units as the old ones clouded up and a sportex exhaust on it.

The air vents inside have been painted blue, but the rest of the interior is all standard. There are some 12V blue LED switches I have retrofitted into the center console, but these no longer have anything connected. The car has a towbar fitted, has only been used twice since I have owned the car. Sadly, the boot has been dented (shown in the photos) where I had a very low speed collision with my own house!

The chassis is totally fine and the bumper has a slight split. The rest of the bodywork is in great condition, there are a few very small car park related dints in the sides, but no deep scratches and no rust at all. The rear lights have been smoked, but the spray I used is removable, so if you don't like the tint, it is easily removable. Another bad point is that when warm, the engine develops a slight rattle, there is no power loss or performance impact, it just sounds like a pulley or something catching somewhere, I'm sure it'll be an easy fix for someone who's got time to put into the car. If you are interested in the alloys with the car, I'm sure a deal can be arranged. It also has no stereo fitted, but has all the wiring for one to go straight in. You'll need to get a new front number plate for it, as the current one is cracked. I'm truly sad to see it go. It's been a lovely car for the past year, has never had any problems driving to fareham when I've needed to. It's been declared as sorn and sat on my driveway for the past 3 weeks.
